c. 2 miles of 4 – 6 lane highway and associated landscaping

Materials
Integrated design of street and landscape, including surface elements (stone, concrete etc), street furniture (stone, steel, wood), lighting (bespoke lighting columns in steel etc). Temporary projects including performance, found objects, bill posters, sheep.

Budget
The entire Ring Road project has a budget of £11.3 million. The public realm, within which the artists’ work is completely integrated, has a budget of £535,000 capital and £52,500 revenue.

Kent County Council; Ashford Borough Council; Department of Communities and Local Government; Channel Corridor Partnership; EU Interreg Programme; Arts Plus award (South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and Arts Council England).
