of Public Art in the South West: Projects Under Development
The following are projects that are currently under development. Information
on these will be updated when they are complete.

Barnstaple Regeneration Schemes, Barnstaple,
North Devon:
Funded by PROJECT, lead artist, Simon Watkinson, has
been working with North Devon District Council and Devon County
Council to explore creative opportunities for the town's varied
regeneration sites (further information email john.laird@northdevon.gov.uk)

Bristol, Canon's Marsh
area:
Lead artist, Tim Knowles, has been working with Crest
Nicholson on a series of commissions for this area of the city. Phase 1 was recently installed (further information email

Chippenham:
Two new artworks were recently commissioned for the new Swindon and Wiltshire History Centre. One is a short film called War Women, focusing on the history of women and the military across Wiltshire throughout recorded history. The other is a Bone Memory, a photomontage that focuses on the hidden histories that make up the landscape of the area, and the marks and shapes we make on the land (further information email santanabriggs@wiltshire.gov.uk)

Durlston Castle,
Dorset:
Lead artist, Lulu Quinn, has been working on the Castle on the
Jurassic Coast (further information email cleo.evans@dorsetcc.gov.uk)

Gloucester Heritage Urban Regeneration
Company:
Tom Littlewood of Gingko has been working on a public
art strategy for the new Gloucester Heritage Urban Regeneration
Company area. This will lead to significant commissioning over

Plymouth Waterfront,
Plymouth, Devon:
Lead artist, Tim Knowles, has been appointed, with PROJECT

West Bay Regeneration, Dorset:
Lead artist, Lulu Quinn, has been appointed to work with architect,
MJ Long, on various regeneration projects in West Bay (further

The Silica project was recently completed and there is an ongoing commissioning programme as part of the Civic Pride Initiative
