Theme 2014: Where are we now?

The fifth edition of Marrakech Biennale asks ‚Where are we now?’ through a dialogue between four disciplines: visual arts, cinema and video, literature and performing arts. Marrakech is at a key moment in its history, standing at an exceptional crossroad. The aim is to gather local, regional and international audiences in order to stimulate cultural dialogues.

The node will be connected to ten selected parallel projects widening the elaboration of answers to this theme. As a participatory Biennale, fringe projects will pop up everywhere in the city during the time frame of the Marrakech Biennale.
