Introduction:
On the 28th February 2012, Darren Henley, the Managing Director of Classic FM, published a review of cultural education in England that he had been commissioned to produce by the Department of Culture Media and Sport and the Department of Education. In this article, Paul Collard analyses the vision for cultural education Henley sets out and how rich an education it will provide.

About the Author:
Paul Collard is Chief Executive of Creativity, Culture and Education, an international not for profit organisation which advises governments, regions and cities on the development and delivery of cultural and creative education programmes. In this article, however, he is speaking in a personal capacity.
