  • Bells of Britain!

    Friday 27 July 2012 will be no ordinary morning. At 8.00am people all across the UK will ring bells to perform Martin Creed’s Work No. 1197: All the bells in a country rung as quickly and as loudly as possible for three minutes, a piece specially commissioned as part of the London 2012 Festival – the culmination of the four-year Cultural Olympiad.

  • James Yamada: The summer shelter retreats darkly among the trees

    On 22nd November 2011, London-based foundation for contemporary art Parasol unit unveiled the first artwork in its Parasolstice – Winter Light series of outdoor projects to be realised by various international artists, each of whom creates sculptural works that address the phenomenon of light.

  • Temporary Stedelijk 3: Stedelijk @

    The Stedelijk Museum is closed for the final phase of construction and completion of the building renovation and expansion project. In the meantime Temporary Stedelijk 3: Stedelijk @ is being presented, a diverse program in collaboration with several peer institutions in Amsterdam encompassing lectures, performances, film screenings, large-scale events and many more activities.

  • 601 Tully: Center for Engaged Practice

    601 Tully is a center for engaged practice in Syracuse, NY developed by artist and professor Marion Wilson with a rotating collaborative team of 54 students and neighbours and Anda French of French 2Design. 601 Tully opened to the public in June 2011 as a site for meaningful exchange between artists, community members, and scholars in the co-production of culture.
