Date uploaded: October 6, 2014

This Is Not A Gateway has released a sneak preview of its programme for its 5th and final Festival. The Festival will be held at the Bishopsgate Institute in London, on the 1st and 2nd of November 2014 and is a platform for critical insights and proposals related to societies ever-increasing urbanised lives.

The Festival prioritises lived knowledge/experience; the proposals of the oppressed, robbed, overlooked and the fighter/warrior and anything by anyone that critically challenges the status quo understanding of ‘cities’.

This years contributors include Antonio Ottomanelli, Bekki Perriman, Benny Wenda, Deepa Naik, Jan Lemitz and Jayaraj Sundaresan to name just a few. For full details for the line up click here.

Previous Festivals have included workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, walks, debates and roundtable discussions. An average of 150 people contribute and over 2000 people participate across the two days.
