Future Regional Network Meetings
The next regional network meeting will be looking at local authorities and current public art practice. Entitled 'Time for Change?: public art practice within local authorities', the meeting will feature presentations by Paul Swales, the former public art officer for Sheffield City Council, Andy Thompson, Environmental Projects Manager, Cambridge City Council, and Celia Yeoman, Public Art Officer/Artscape Manager, Swindon Borough Council. The aim being to investigate how local authorities are responding to the changing contexts of public art activity and creating a far more integrated approach to delivery. This half-day meeting is on 4 th November at STEAM, Museum of the Great Western Railway, Swindon and has been financially supported by and organised in collaboration with Swindon Borough Council's Artscape.
